Stone Cow Brewery is located at the 1,000 acre Carter & Stevens Farm. Their fifth-generation dairy farm has been milking cows and producing raw milk everyday since 1938. In addition to being a passion project born of a love for craft beer, the brewery is an effort to sustain the farm for many generations to come.
New England IPA
Brewed with the rare and super juciy Galaxy hops. This IPA brewed in the New England style has flavor and notes of mandarin orange that hits the nose and the pallet.
Flagship American IPA. Straw colored and cloaked by a slight haze, this beer is a beautiful showcase for American hops. Citrus and tropical fruits delight the sense of smell and taste as a mild bitterness and dry finish provide the perfect balance.
Some call the moment when you pinch your fingers while building a stone wall "The Granite Kiss." Stone Cow signature Double India Pale Ale is brewed to be a "heavy hitter" at 8% ABV with smooth pithy grapefruit flavours mixed with subtle under-ripe mango.
The original session farm beer! This Belgian style saisson is the beverage of choice on the farm after a long day's work.
German Pale Lager
A great German-style Pale Lager, this beer is a light golden colour with a more (slightly) bitter or earthy taste than a traditional American Lager. Farmer Phil Stevens built Stone Cow Brewery and we honour him with this beer.
Tranquil & Alert Dark IPA has multi-characteristics of spruce meets malty roast aroma biscuit over coffee. Brewed with local Mass-grown Four Star Farms hops, one dollar for every pint will be donated to a veterans charity.
Stone Cow's signature milk stout! This beer is black in the glass and topped with an inviting tan head. Aromas of coffee liqueur and dark fruits are followed by flavours of milk and bitter-sweet baker's chocolate as well as roasty notes of espresso.
One of seasonal favourites, Wit Beyond Measure is a Man's Greatest Treasure! This Belgian style Witbier pours a pale straw opaque with a crisp wheat character and subtle notes of lemon zest & peel.
Brewed exclusively with Massachusetts Hops grown at Four Star Farms in Northfield, MA. This kettle sour is one of Stone Cow favourite beer of the year. packed with Black Currant juice!
